As part of the health crisis linked to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Hospices Civils de Lyon (HCL) have appealed for donations of equipment from research organizations and higher education and research institutions.
CRAL responded by donating its stock of equipment used in the integration hall of its instrumental platform: 250 masks, 700 gloves, 850 shoe covers, 200 head caps, 21 coveralls, transferred on March 26, 2020 to the HOSPIMAG platform in Saint Genis-Laval.
It’s a drop in the bucket, but every drop counts when it comes to dealing with such a lack of protection for HCL staff.
Multiple local initiatives have also been put in place.
