in conjonction with the astrophysical colloquium EWASS 2019
CRAL is organizing EWASS 2019 (European Week of Astronomy and Space Science), an international conference that will take place at the Manufacture des Tabacs from 24th to 28th June 2019. EWASS represents the largest European astronomical conference, bringing together the diverse European astronomical community. Every year the conference is organized in a different country, with the support of the European Astronomical Society (EAS).
EWASS 2019 also coincides with the:
- 50th anniversary of the Moon Landing
- 80th year of the CNRS
- 100th year since the foundation of the International Astronomical Union (IAU) in Paris in 1919.
We wish that the local public also benefits as much as possible from this exciting time share astronomy. So spread throughout May, June and July 2019, we have arranged a series of events for all to enjoy and learn about space.
