HARMONI (High Angular Resolution Monolithic Optical and Near-infrared Integral field spectrograph) is one of the two first-light instruments to be installed on the Extremely Large Telescope (ELT-39m) of the European Southern Observatory (ESO) on the Cerro Armazones site in Chile.
CRAL has been involved since 2009 in the design, assembly and tests of the Integral Field System (IFS) and the scientific software. The project has finished its preliminary design phase end 2017, and it enters its final design phase in 2018.
