Exhibition: "Solar system in the city"
between the Musée des Confluences and the École Normale Supérieure de Lyon

From the Sun to the planet Neptune, our solar system is being scaled down to the distance between the Musée des Confluences and the École Normale Supérieure de Lyon, avenue Jean Jaurès. The DéMesures association is reinstating an exhibition from the Fête de la Science 2018, allowing the public to truly appreciate the vast distance of space, with the planets represented on the same scale as the distance between them.

At the locations of each of the planets you will find markers on the ground providing basic info on the planets, photographs from NASA and ESA satellite missions, and a map showing where the planets reside in the solar system / street. The markers will guide visitors from one celestial body to another, as well as provide their to-scale representation.
French and English audio guides are available for the exhibition. Simply scan the QR-codes found along the route.
More information can be found on the EWASS 2019 page of the DéMesures association
