Evening debate "Le retour de l’obscurantisme et les fakes news"
at the Vaulx-en-Velin Planetarium (reservation required).
The event will be in French.
This evening debate will cover the worrying rise of obscurantism in society and the disturbing extent of fake news. Against this backdrop it is becoming difficult to disseminate the latest scientific advances to an increasingly more sceptical public; in this current climate of distrust, people are being swamped by information and are no longer able to clearly distinguish fact from fiction.
